Dr. Forg graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1990. She completed her residency at Scripps Mercy Hospital in 1992 and has been practicing since. She teaches surgical and clinical skills to residents at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, and is actively involved in the residency program.

Dr. Forg enjoys rock and ice climbing, alpine climbing, and hiking. She also enjoys cylcing, reading, traveling, art, music, and spending time with her daughter.
